Jan Postelmans

Jan was born in 1772 and his baptism took place on December 8th, 1772 in Lummen. Jan's father was Arnold Postelmans and his mother was Marie Gertrude Windmolders. His paternal grandparents were Walter Postelmans and Marie Gompers. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Mathijs, Paulus, Bernard, Guillome, Petrus Joannes, Maria Catherina and Anne Marie. He was the third oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 80 on April 30th, 1852 in Lummen.
