Anne Marie was born in 1779 and her baptism took place on March 2nd, 1779 in Lummen.  Anne Marie's father was Arnold Postelmans and her mother was Marie Gertrude Windmolders.  Her paternal grandparents were Walter Postelmans and Marie Gompers.  She had six brothers and a sister, named Mathijs, Jan, Paulus, Bernard, Guillome, Petrus Joannes and Maria Catherina.  She was the seventh oldest of the eight children.
