Christina was born on November 4th, 1769 in Genk.1   Christina's father was Matheus Poisten and her mother was Catharina Vandormael.  Her paternal grandparents were Godefridus Poisten and Christine Welters.  She was an only child.  She died at the age of 61 on February 12th, 1831 in Genk Camerlo.1
