Marie Carolina was born on July 11th, 1859 in Lummen.  Marie Carolina's father is Alexander Morren and her mother was Maria Theresia Obrechts.  Her maternal grandparents were Bernard Obrechts and Maria Catherina Moons.  She had three brothers and five sisters, named Carolus Ludovicus, Ludovicus, Felix, Rosalie, Maria Colette, Maria Catherina Adilia, Philomena and Maria Amelia.  She was the fifth oldest of the nine children.  She died at the age of 1 on July 10th, 1861 in Lummen.
