Angeline was born on May 20th, 1811 in Heusden, Eversel.  Angeline's father was Bruno Gaethofs and her mother was Marie Therese Persoons.  Her paternal grandparents were Petrus (Pierre) Gaethofs and Maria Schaenen (Schraenen).  She had two brothers named Jean Matty and Pierre.  She was the youngest of the three children.  She died at the age of 50 on May 8th, 1862 in Zolder, Viversel.
