Jules Ludovicus Elens

Jules Ludovicus was born on August 25th, 1851 in Beringen and his baptism took place there on August 25th, 1851.¹ Jules Ludovicus' father was Clément Pierre Paul Joseph Elens and his mother was Jeanne Colette Wouters. His paternal grandparents were Jean François Elens and Marie-Catherine-Madeleine Delonneux. He had four brothers and a sister, named Marie-Ferdinand-Emile, Armand Joseph Marie Jean , Joseph, Cyrille Julianus Maria and Irène. He was the youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 75 on October 1st, 1926 in Stokkem.¹
