Angelica was born on May 28th, 1822 in Paal.1   Angelica's father was Henry Ariën and her mother was Anna Maria Gaethofs.  Her paternal grandfather was Gerard Ariën and her paternal grandmother is Anna Maria Vanzonhoven; her maternal grandparents were Petrus (Pierre) Gaethofs and Maria Schaenen (Schraenen).  She had two brothers and four sisters, named Petrus Ludovicus, Petrus, Maria Victoria, Maria Carolina, Maria Joseph and Maria Scholostia.  She was the sixth oldest of the seven children.  She died at just 26 days old on June 23rd, 1822.
