Egidius Gaethofs 
Egidius was born on April 17th, 1682 in Houthalen. Egidius' father was Joannes Gaethofs and his mother was Gertrudis Loys. He was an only child. He died at the age of 55 on February 16th, 1738 in Meeuwen.
Egidius and Catharina were married in a religious ceremony on August 18th, 1722 in Meeuwen.1 They had two sons and six daughters, named Clemens, Joannes, Maria, Gertrudis, Christina, Helena, Catherina and Maria. Helena and Catherina were twins.

Maria Gathofs (Gaethofs)
Maria was born in 1725 in Meeuwen and her baptism took place there on February 2nd, 1725. She died at the age of 66 on June 3rd, 1791 in Genk.
Gertrudis Gathofs (Gaethofs)
Gertrudis was born on March 17th, 1727 in Meeuwen. She died at the age of 74 on June 14th, 1801 in Meeuwen.
Christina Elisabeth Gathofs (Gaeters) (Gaethofs)
Christina was born on March 16th, 1731 in Meeuwen and her baptism took place there on March 16th, 1731. Her godfather was Joannis Bosmans and her godmother was Elisabetha Mossis. She died at the age of 79 on April 27th, 1810 in Meeuwen.
Helena Gathofs (Gaethofs)
Helena was born on January 7th, 1734 in Meeuwen and her baptism took place there on January 10th, 1734. She died at the age of 42 on December 16th, 1776 in Meeuwen.
Catherina Gathofs (Gaethofs)
Catherina was born on January 7th, 1734 in Meeuwen and her baptism took place there on January 10th, 1734.
Maria Catharina Gathofs(Gaeters) (Gaethofs)
Maria was born in 1737 in Meeuwen and her baptism took place there on April 21st, 1737. She died at the age of 58 on November 15th, 1795 in Meeuwen.
