William Pierce Asbell

William Pierce was born in 1861. William Pierce's father was Tyre Asbell and his mother was Mary Malinda Webb. His paternal grandparents were Pierce Asbell and Nelly Still. He had two brothers and five sisters, named John W., Thomas Richard, Elaner Ann, Alise Matile or Alice Matelia, Matilda, Kate and Carol G.. He was the second oldest of the eight children. He had three half-brothers and six half-sisters, named Arthur O., James Samuel, Edward Eugene, Mary Elizabeth, Margaret L., Octavia Marie, Etta May, Effie Belle and Elza. He died at the age of 84 in 1945.
