    He received his B.A. from the University of Cambridge in 1583. He thenwent to Thurston, Suffolk, as a curate from 1583 to 1586. In 1586 hereceived his M.A. from Trinity College at the University of Cambridge.He went to Cranbrook as assistant to Robert Roades. He succeeded RobertRhoads at Cranbrook in 1589. William EDDYE and Mary FOSTEN were married on 20 Nov 1587 in Cranbrook, Co., Kent, England.
