Hugh and Jane were married on June 6th, 1902.  They had a son and three daughters, named Robert, Jeanie, Elizabeth and Jessie.

Male Hugh Cuthbert
Hugh was born on March 1st, 1871 in Galston. He died  due to Hypertension, cerebral thrombosis, broncho pneumonia at the age of 72 on August 9th, 1943 in Glenlockhart Road, Morningside.1 

Female Jane Johnstone
Jane was born on August 9th, 1874 in Dalgety.  She died  due to Peripheral neuritis, 3 days; heart failure at the age of 53 on June 4th, 1928 in Donibristle.2

Female Jeanie Cuthbert
Jeanie was born in 1902.

Female Elizabeth Prentice Cuthbert
Elizabeth was born on July 8th, 1904 in Cowdenbeath.  She died at the age of 59 on January 30th, 1964 in Cowdenbeath.

Male Robert Cuthbert
Robert was born on June 3rd, 1906 in Fordell, Dalgety.3   He died  due to Cerebral neoplasm at the age of 59 on January 28th, 1966 in Warrington.4
