Mary was born in 1711 in St. Johns Parrish, Baltimore County, Maryland.  Mary's father was William Deason and her mother is Mary Standefer.  Her paternal grandparents were William Deason and Elizabeth Ayers; her maternal grandfather is William Standefer.  She was an only child.  She died at the age of 78 in 1789 in York County, South Carolina.
