Antanas Modestas was born in 1931.  Antanas Modestas' father was Antanas Lukoševičius and his mother was Uršulė Vitkauskaitė.  His paternal grandparents were Antanas Lukoševičius and Ona Firavičiūtė; his maternal grandfather is Adomas Vitkauskas and his maternal grandmother was Marijona Mickytė. He had two brothers named Česlovas and Vaclovas.  He was the youngest of the three children. He had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, and also a half-sibling of unknown gender, named Jonas, Kazimieras, Ona, Zabelė and ?.  He died due to a medical problem at the age of 54 on November 3rd, 1985.
