Earnie and Bessie met at a dance in Mimico and dated for as few years , saving money to build a house in Port Credit. Earnie worked on the Trans Canada high way sending his money to Bessie in order t o buy supplies for the house. After the marriage they settled in Port Credit Ont. on Troy St. They moved to 1020 Deta Rd in the summer of 1953 needing a bigger home with the impending birth of their 4th child.
