Ida was born on February 16th, 1954.  Ida's father is Hendrik Alberthus and her mother was Sarah Francis.  Her paternal grandparents were Matias Alberthus and Agnes Balthazar. She has two brothers and four sisters, named Matias, Marthinus, Cerestina, Margaretha, Yokebeth and Antonia.  She is the oldest of the seven children.
