Thomas Girdlestone 
Thomas was born in 1755 in Heathersett, Norfolk, England. Thomas' father was Henry Girdlestone and his mother was Margaret Cooper. His paternal grandparents were John Girdlestone and Sarah Ford. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Henry John, Thomas, Margaret, Catherine and Ann. He was the third oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 2 in 1757.-
