Edward Girdlestone 
Edward was born in 1805 in St Dunstan's, Westmorland, England and his baptism took place on February 6th, 1806 in Old Church, St. Pancras, Middlesex, England. Edward's father was Samuel Rainbow Girdlestone and his mother was Caroline Roberts Powell. His paternal grandparents were Zurishaddai Girdlestone and Sarah Hewitt; his maternal grandparents were James Powell and Unknown. He had two brothers and a sister, named Samuel, Charles and Charlotte. He was the youngest of the four children. He died at the age of 79 on December 4th, 1884.-
