Charlotte Girdlestone 
Charlotte was born in 1825 in Holt, Norfolk, England. Charlotte's father was William James Girdlestone and her mother was Martha Humphries. Her paternal grandparents were Rev William Girdlestone and Anne Balders Browne. She had three brothers and a sister, named George, Charles, James and Mary. She was the youngest of the five children.-
