Samuel Buxton 
Samuel was born in 1805 in Crich, Derbyshire, England. Samuel's father was Henry Buxton and his mother was Nanny Wheatcroft. His maternal grandparents were Abraham Wheatcroft and Ann Turner. He had six brothers and two sisters, named German, David , John, William , Abraham, Francis Henry, Marianne and Olivia . He was the second oldest of the nine children.-
