Helmer Hams Boelsen 
Helmer Hams was born on February 24th, 1737 in Leer, Niedersachsen, Germany. Helmer Hams' father was Harm Anthons Helmers Boelsen and his mother was Swantje Knottnerus. His paternal grandparents were Helmer Harmens and Taalke Wilken; his maternal grandparents were Johannes Knottnerus and Hayke Janssen Seemann. He had a brother and two sisters, named Johannes Michael, Taletta and Heyko. He was the second oldest of the four children. He died at the age of 74 on January 19th, 1812 in Monastery Thedinga.-
