Annie was born on October 18th, 1900 in Sunderland, Durham, England.  Annie's father was John George Blackett and her mother was Mary Forster.  Her paternal grandparents were George Eggleston Blackett and Sarah Unknown. She had two brothers and a sister, named George, Seymour and Phyliss.  She died at the age of 92 on December 17th, 1992 in Sunderland, Durham, England.
