Jane Beath 
Jane was born on January 29th, 1825 in Catsburn House, Greenock, Renfrew, Scotland. Jane's father was David Beath and her mother was Jane (Jean) Maitland. Her paternal grandparents were David Beath and Jean Durie; her maternal grandparents were Robert Maitland and Elizabeth Mochry. She had six brothers and a sister, named Robert Maitland, Alexander, John, George Bailas, George, James and Elisabeth. She was the fourth youngest of the eight children. She had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named Hugh Gavin, David Alexander and Eliza Park. She died at the age of 1 on July 8th, 1826 in Greenock, Renfrew, Scotland.-
