Jean Arbuthnott 
Jean was born about 1701 in Fordoun, Kincardineshire, Scotland and her baptism took place there on February 2nd, 1723. Jean's father was Hon. John Arbuthnott and her mother was Margaret Falconer . Her paternal grandparents were Sir Robert Arbuthnott (2nd Viscount of Arbuthnott, 2nd Lord Inverbervie) and Catherine Gordon; her maternal grandparents were Sir James Falconer of Pheldo and Elizabeth Trent. She had three brothers and eight sisters, named James, John, Thomas, Elizabeth, Margaret, Anne, Katharine, Mary, Thomas, Jean and Catherine. She was the fourth oldest of the twelve children. She died on July 19th, 1791.-
