Thomas was born on June 24th, 1882 in Perth, Perthshire, Scotland . Thomas' father was David Thomas Alexander and his mother was Christina McKenzie Geekie. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Alexander and Margaret Borthwick; his maternal grandparents were David Geekie and Elizabeth Robertson. He was an only child. He died at the age of 71 on August 13th, 1953 in Manse, Lunan Bay, Angus, Scotland.-
