Christiaan Rudolf Liebenberg

Christiaan was born in 1695 in Liebenwerda ,near Münchenberg in Brandenburg, Germany.

Birth Notes
- Not sure of his exact birth, just an estimate considering he came to SA as a soldier in 1715.

He died at the age of 68 in 1763.

General Notes
- Came to the Cape, SA, in 1715 as a soldier of the VOC on ship "Vrijburg".
  In 1723 he was given permission to farm by Governor De Chavonnes. In 1725 he becomes a free burger and started farming in the Stellenbosch district.
