Lydia

Lydia was born in 1775 in Hurstpierpoint, Sussex and her baptism took place there on August 9th, 1775.  Lydia's father was Henry Gander and her mother was Elizabeth Harland.  Her paternal grandparents were William Gander and Elizabeth Harris. She had four brothers and four sisters, named James, Henry, William, David, Elizabeth, Ann, Martha and Elizabeth.  She died at the age of 77 in 1852 in Lower Beeding.  The funeral took place on October 6th, 1852 in Cowfold.
