Степан (Стефан) Яковлевич

Степан (Стефан) was born in 1829.  Степан (Стефан)'s father was Яков (Иаков) Кириллович Готвань (Говтьвян, Готьван) and his mother was Христина Емельяновна (Довбня).  His paternal grandparents were Кирилл ??? Готвань and Пелагия. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Иаков (Яков), Никита, Иван (Иоанн), Тарас (Тарасий), Евфрасиния and Матрона.  He was the third youngest of the seven children.  He died due to a medical problem, от водянки, at the age of 72 on February 9th, 1901 in Иоанно-Богословская церковь, с.Новоивановка.  The funeral took place on February 10th, 1901.
