William Edward Twist

William was born in 1890 in Brewarrina, NSW.  William's father was Richard Twist and his mother was Ann Ellenor Peters.  His paternal grandparents were Jesse Twist and Hannah Rothwell. He had two brothers and four sisters, named James, Sidney, Ann, Emily, Elizabeth and Hannah.  He was the second youngest of the seven children.
