Caroline Perring 
Caroline was born in 1843 in Salcombe. Caroline's father was John Perring and her mother was Jemima Gillen. Her paternal grandparents were George Perring and Maria Collings. She had seven brothers and four sisters, named John, George, William, Edwin, James, Albert, Charles, Mary, Eliza, Eliza and Rosa. She was the fifth oldest of the twelve children.-
