Frances was born on December 22nd, 1895 in Beechworth, Victoria, Australia. Frances' father was Samuel Clapham and her mother was Fanny Sunderland. Her paternal grandparents were William Clapham and Margaret Moore; her maternal grandparents are John Sunderland and Francis Townsend. She had three brothers and a sister, named Will, Henry, Charles and Lillian. She died at the age of 75 on June 17th, 1971 in Burwood, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.-
