Edward was born on February 5th, 1780 in Shirley, MA. Edward's father was Timothy Bolton. His paternal grandfather was William Bolton. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Oliver, Moses, Eliab, Eliab, Mary, Olive, Eunice and Lucinda. He was the second oldest of the nine children. Edward is no longer alive.-
