1851 census says born in Scarborough, but 1861 and 1871 says York.
This suggests that she may well be the Mary Ann Snow Pennock born to William and Mary Ann Pennock on 31/05/1813

1841 census has her living as a lodger (aged 25, name spelled Harriot) in East Gate, Seamer with her son, Pennock, aged 9 months. Other residents are Mary Pennock (75) Farmer, Mary Dunn (30) Lodger, Robert Dunn (3 weeks), Rachel Mercer (15), Henry Richardson (70) and William Atkinson (15). Another William Atkinson (20) lives in a nearby house.
1891 census has her living at 57 Sepulchre St with Sarah her daughter.
