William Owen West

William was born in July 1945. William's father was Franklin Lafayette West and his mother was Nancy Ida Ivey. His maternal grandparents were John Washington Ivey and Georgia Augusta (Emma) Emmaline Boatright Cook (Ivey). He has five brothers and two sisters, named Franklin, Delbert, James, Olvie, Charles, Opal and Joyce. He is the second youngest of the eight children.
