Thomas was born on December 4th, 1844 in Leitrim Co. Ireland.  Thomas' father was James Sheeran and his mother was Polly Mary Fox (Sheeran).  His maternal grandparents were Michael Fox and Mary McGloin. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Owen, Patrick, Mary and Margaret.  He was the second youngest of the five children.  He died at the age of 86 on March 23rd, 1931 in Live Oak Co Texas.
