Lillie was born in 1899.  Lillie's father was Jason Albert Reeves and her mother was Francis (Fannie) Gibbs.  Her paternal grandparents were Charles  Armstrong  Reeves and Alcey Ann Ivey (Reeves). She had three brothers named Jesse, Willie and John.  She was the second oldest of the four children. She had two half-brothers and five half-sisters, named Charles, Jason, Lillian, Nettie, Connie, Nellie and Adie.  She died at the age of 90 in 1989.
