Merle Helena Pugh

Merle was born in February 1917. Merle's father is Samuel (Sam) Winford Pugh and her mother was Margaret (Maggie) Veronica Goodwin (Pugh). Her maternal grandparents were James Francis Goodwin and Mary (Molly) Ann Lewis. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Eugene, James, Norma, Margaret and Francis. She is the second youngest of the six children.
