Nellie was born on March 7th, 1918 in Live Oak, TX.  Nellie's father is Thomas Francis Nance and her mother was Nettie Goynes.  Her maternal grandparents were Augustus Sanders Goynes and Ellen Elizabeth McMurray (Goynes). She had five brothers and two sisters, named Felix, Buck, Jack, Thomas, Chewy, Katie and Mary.  She was the fourth youngest of the eight children.  She died at the age of 4 on September 23rd, 1922 in TX.
