Margaret was born on June 15th, 1843 in Ireland.  Margaret's father was William McMurray and her mother was Bridget Elizabeth Fox (McMurray).  Her maternal grandparents were Michael Fox and Mary McGloin. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Francis, William, Mary and Ellen.  She was the oldest of the five children.  She died at the age of 91 on February 18th, 1935 in TX.
