William was born on February 17th, 1756 in VA.  William's father is John Henry Lowe Jr and his mother was Nancy Ann Butler.  His paternal grandfather is John Henry Lowe and his paternal grandmother was Hannah Barnabe; his maternal grandfather is Edward Butler and his maternal grandmother was Francis Cooke.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 79 on March 17th, 1835 in Simpson KY.
