Margaret was born in November 1876 in Caddo, Bryan, OK.  Margaret's father was Bartholomew Lane and her mother was Francis Jones.  Her paternal grandparents were Daniel Lane and Mary Hendrick. She had six brothers and two sisters, named Bartholomew, Ed, James, Willie, Peter, Michael, Rosa and Daisy.  She was the oldest of the nine children. She had three half-sisters named Joanna, Katherine and Mary.  She died at the age of 86 on December 14th, 1962 in Carter, OK.
