Twin was born in March 1925.  Twin's father was Robert Henry Ivey and her mother is Sally Magdalina Gordon (Ivey).  Her paternal grandparents were William Thomas Ivey and Sarah Ellen Davis (Ivey). She has five brothers and four sisters, named Leo, Bud, Kennon, Henry, Jim, Twin, Lorina, Bessie and Marie.  Twin and Twin are twins.
