Neomi was born on May 5th, 1870 in Gonzales TX.  Neomi's father was George Washington Ivey and her mother was Nancy Pink Davis (Ivey).  Her paternal grandparents were Jason William Ivey and JoAnna Jamima Miller. She had a brother and four sisters, named John, Annie, Molly, Lea and Lou.  She was the oldest of the six children. She had six half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Philip, Jason, Ples, Alvie, Benjamin, Alford, Molly Lee and Cynthia.  She died at the age of 76 on March 5th, 1947 in San Antonio, Bexar TX.
