Mattie Leona Ivey (Freeman)

Mattie was born in 1926. Mattie's father was Philip Wilkerson Ivey and her mother was Mattie Bell Baker (Ivey). Her paternal grandparents were George Washington Ivey and Jennie Victoria Brady (Ivey). She had seven brothers and five sisters, named William, Louis, Barney, Phillip, Denver, J, Billy, Ruby, Ethel, Elvis, Ada and Christine. She is the fourth youngest of the thirteen children. She has two half-sisters named Diaan and Jennie.
