Mary was born in 1849 in Carroll Co MS.  Mary's father was Jacob Ivey and her mother was Caroline Bush (Ivey).  Her paternal grandparents were Reuben Ivey and Elizabeth  Hudson (Ivey). She had two brothers and a sister, named Henry, Jacob and Rachel.  She was the oldest of the four children.  She died in TX.
