Martha was born on March 22nd, 1885 in Leesville TX.  Martha's father was William Thomas Ivey and her mother was Sarah Ellen Davis (Ivey).  Her paternal grandparents were Reuben Ivey and Elizabeth  Hudson (Ivey). She had five brothers and three sisters, named James, Augustus, Robert, Andrew, William, Sally, Mary and Milly.  She was the second youngest of the nine children.  She died at the age of 89 on September 6th, 1974 in Gonzales Co TX.
