Margaret, known as Milly, was born on April 9th, 1879 in Gonzales TX.  Milly's father was William Thomas Ivey and her mother was Sarah Ellen Davis (Ivey).  Her paternal grandparents were Reuben Ivey and Elizabeth  Hudson (Ivey). She had five brothers and three sisters, named James, Augustus, Robert, Andrew, William, Sally, Mary and Martha.  She was the fifth oldest of the nine children.
