Johnny (Roy) Leroy Ivey

Johnny, known as Roy, was born in May 1919. Roy's father was John Washington Ivey and his mother was Georgia Augusta (Emma) Emmaline Boatright Cook (Ivey). His paternal grandparents were George Washington Ivey and Nancy Pink Davis (Ivey). He had four brothers and three sisters, named George, Julius, Clarence, Bart, Nancy, Addie and Clara. He is the second youngest of the eight children.
