Cynthia was born on September 28th, 1909.  Cynthia's father was George Washington Ivey and her mother was Jennie Victoria Brady (Ivey).  Her paternal grandparents were Jason William Ivey and JoAnna Jamima Miller. She had six brothers and a sister, named Philip, Jason, Ples, Alvie, Benjamin, Alford and Molly Lee.  She was the youngest of the eight children. She had a half-brother and five half-sisters, named John, Neomi, Annie, Molly, Lea and Lou.  She died at the age of 68 in 1977.
