Annie was born in 1871.  Annie's father was George Washington Ivey and her mother was Nancy Pink Davis (Ivey).  Her paternal grandparents were Jason William Ivey and JoAnna Jamima Miller. She had a brother and four sisters, named John, Neomi, Molly, Lea and Lou.  She was the second oldest of the six children. She had six half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Philip, Jason, Ples, Alvie, Benjamin, Alford, Molly Lee and Cynthia.  She died at the age of 70 in 1941.
