Martha Ann Heffington

Martha was born in January 1826 in Lauderdale AL. Martha's father was Thomas David Heffington and her mother was Katherine Susannah Smith (Heffington). Her paternal grandparents were David Heffington and Dorothy Lowe. She had six brothers and three sisters, named William, Elisha, Elihu, Stephan, Barney, Leroy, Mahala, Lucinda and Sarah. She was the second oldest of the ten children.
